[GNU/Linux] configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

1) Tried to compile Bacula.. ./configure, make , make install. During ./configure, error occured

2) Searched for solution to solve the ./configure error. Most of the site which i found says that the reason behind the problem is missing GNU C++ compiler package. So install GNU C++ Compiler package.
E.g : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/history/357088

4) Unfortunately, that was not the problem as I already have the required package. Managed to search in depth and found that somebody said that the same problem could be caused by 'other' problem eventhough it look like C++ is missing. Fortunately, I found this one :
http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=294108

5) Reinstall kernel-headers package, problem solved.

Cheers.
